How the PolyHalt^® works:

The PolyHalt^® cartridge works in three ways;

1. Holds in suspension (sequesters); soluble iron, manganese, silica and hardness minerals.
2. Protects plumbing and appliances from deposits and scale buildup and stains.
3. Forms a thin protective layer to protect against aggressive low pH waters.

In multi-cartridge systems the PolyHalt^® cartridge is combined with sediment and / or sediment and carbon cartridge filters to provide additional treatment abilities.
